There's a 'write time' for everything.

After a working life spent in the advertising business, it's my time to ease back and write more for the fun of it.

In particular, I want to pass on what I've learned about written communication.

So I've written a number of Hubs about writing effectively. Experience-based advice on how to draw your readers in, hook and hold them. Important in all forms of writing; vital online.

You'll also find tips about structure, style, sense and selling your ideas. As well as what paths are more likely to provide an income, if you're a sufficiently talented writer, and can apply yourself to a commercial world.

Writing, especially for money, is anything but an exact science, so my Hubs (along with those I write about other things) reflect my personal perspective, which might differ wildly from yours, but hey, what a dull world it would be if we all thought the same!
